Hoboken Engagement Photographer | Stephanie & Andrew

I have spent a lot of time in Hoboken during the early years of my relationship with my husband and 2017 gave me a few opportunities to go back and photograph there.  I always love going back and I'll happily go almost anywhere if it gives me a glimpse of the New York City skyline.  A simple view of the Freedom Tower or the Empire State Building can transport me back to 34th Street and 6th Avenue, my feet shuffling down the sidewalk, surrounded by the hum of commuters, blaring horns and exhaust rising from subway grates.  It is the energy I miss.  People rushing around or just passing time in a place so rich in culture, so vast and diverse, that it felt like it's own country.  Any opportunity to work in New York or Hoboken will be met with a definite, "yes" from me.

Stephanie and Andrew are getting married in New Jersey this Spring but I was thrilled that they wanted to have their engagement session in Hoboken.  The waterfront is beautiful and the sunset was perfection.  They even treated me to a falafel from Mamoun's after the shoot.  Stephanie and Andrew, you speak my language.  Thank you for such a fun evening.  I can't wait until May!
