Sabrina and Roni were married in a combination of American and Indian traditions and I am so thankful to have been a part of all of them. The festivities began on Friday night, before the wedding. There was so much to look at and process and the time just flew by me. Between the beautiful and colorful sarees, the adorable little kids and the traditions, some of which were new to me, I felt like I was being entertained all evening. Sabrina was simply stunning and it was a pleasure photographing her. I was amazed at how much work went into getting her dressed just exactly right. Friday evening was followed by an American wedding ceremony on Saturday morning and a reception on Saturday evening. I was so tired by the time it was over, I couldn't imagine how exhausted Sabrina and Roni must have been. Enjoy these few photos from the Friday night reception!

Danielle and Anthony's wedding was held at the Phoenixville Foundry, a place I had been dying to shoot. The Foundry combines all of the elements of a new and modern wedding venue with the rustic and artistic architecture of the former foundry (with parts left intact). Their wedding was everything I had hoped it would be. Danielle thought of every meticulous detail and when I finally saw how the Foundry looked decked out for the wedding, it just blew me away.
First things first, I met Danielle and the girls at the Desmond Hotel for some prep on a VERY rainy morning. I love the shot of Danielle with all of the hands primping her. Danielle chose lots of helpful women to be in her wedding party :)

I was lucky enough to have Rae Barnes second shoot for me. The ceremony was lovely and I loved watching Danielle silently communicate with all of her bridesmaids in the front row. By the time the ceremony ended, the skies had miraculously parted and we had time to fit in a fun photo location on the way to the reception.

Valley Forge National Park served as a great place for formal portraits with family and the wedding party. The Foundry was an equally great backdrop for some nice couple shots. I loved the way Danielle looked at Anthony. Any time I asked them to smile, they would. But when I told Danielle to look at her groom, she had the cutest "in-love" look about her.

Danielle and Anthony,
Rae and I had an excellent time photographing your wedding. Thank you so much for being so kind and welcoming. We hope you're having a fantastic time in Hawaii!! That's 3 in a row for Hawaiian-bound honeymooners :)

I knew there was a lot to expect from this wedding. After talking with Lisa and Chris several times about their day and everything they had planned, I was excited to finally see everything come together and to be able to photograph such a whirlwind of a reception. From the grand entrance to the beautiful and touching toasts and the all of the Indian traditions which took place, this reception was perhaps the most fun party I have photographed. I couldn't have felt more welcome the whole day and I was even somehow pushed into the final "group hug" around the bride and groom.

These were probably the greatest two entrances I've ever seen at a wedding. The couple's siblings came in to "Gold Digger" with excellent props, only to be followed by the bride and groom who had some costumes of their own. To be honest, I was not expecting this in the least and I don't think the guests were either so I think everyone was floored. Nice touch.

I blogged a preview of this wedding a few weeks back but I wanted to post more of Alison and Corey's beautiful day. They were married at the Midtown Loft and Terrace in Manhattan. The great thing about this venue is that it is a complete blank slate so each wedding at the Loft is a perfect reflection of the couple getting married there. Alison and Corey wanted to have pictures taken in Central Park which always makes me a very happy photographer. We avoided the rain all day and everything turned out beautifully.

After Central Park, we headed to the Loft to wait for the ceremony to start and the guests to arrive. I found Alison and Corey in a corner practicing their very carefully choreographed first dance (to the song playing on an iPhone held by the Maid of Honor). It was so sweet and the light was SO nice where they were dancing.

Thank you, Alison and Corey, for inviting me to be a part of your celebration!
