Jennifer and Mark's wedding was my last of 2011 and they have been so patient waiting for this blog post. The truth is, there were so many photos I wanted to include that I was a little intimidated about actually gathering all of my favorites together and taking the time to prepare and post them all. The good news is, I've finally gotten around to doing it.

Jennifer's disposition is one that makes you feel immediately comfortable, accepted and appreciated. Upon meeting her family it was no surprise, as each experience and conversation I shared with her three brothers and her mother and father echoed the same qualities. Mark was such a gentleman and incredibly enthusiastic about photography which is always fun for me. He was up for and excited about all of our ideas during the portrait session of the day.
Jennifer was referred to me by one of her maids-of-honor, whose wedding I also shot so it was a lot of fun to see Rachel, in the second photo, and her husband, Tim, again.

Jennifer is a teacher and to the delight of her students, she invited them all to be present at the ceremony. It was so cute watching them crane their necks into the aisle to try to see what was going on at the front of the church. After the service, they all just looked at her in awe. It was a testament to what a good teacher she must be, all of the kids just wanted to be close to her and give her hugs!

Thanks to Joe Craig for all of your beautiful photos!

I love weddings at the Phoenixville Foundry. It is such a unique and grand space and from what I've overheard there, guests are always impressed by it too. Marisa and Mike decided to have their wedding just before Thanksgiving and it is always exciting shooting a wedding around that time of year. You can feel everyone getting excited for the holidays and the wedding is another reason for celebration. The weather was unseasonably mild that day and it lent to a beautiful portrait session in downtown Phoenixville. Marisa's dad was sweet enough to contact the local movie theater and put the couple's name up on the marquee! It was one of the best personal touches I've ever seen.

Marisa and Mike, it was great working with you. Your families were and are wonderful and sweet and it was just such a nice day for us! Couples like you make me really love my job :)

The Lotos Club offered what felt like a regal backdrop for the day. There were rich colors and ornamental details in every room that truly felt fit for a wedding. Thanks to Alison and Jesse for going with the flow! It was a beautiful day.

Thankfully, Becca and Dan decided to have their wedding on a Sunday. The day before, we had an epic blizzard and tree--falling episode in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Roads were nearly impossible to navigate. Even on Sunday, my trip to Holly Hedge required three detours. Needless to say, it was a relief to arrive for the beautiful wedding that took place. It seemed to me that all of the guests made it too. While the ceremony was moved inside, the barn provided such an intimate and wonderful setting that I doubt anyone even noticed the weather outside. Becca and Dan had a wonderful attitude about the slight changes in plans and they truly had a blast at the party! It was a wonderful, snowy, fall wedding.
