With Thanksgiving only two days away, I thought it would be a great time to offer a holiday promotion to all of you.  I am so thankful for all of my wonderful clients throughout the year.  You truly make me love what I do and I can't express how much I appreciate your business and your support.  The ability to turn something I love into a career has never been something I've taken for granted.  I am thankful for each day, each job and each client.

This year, I'll be offering a discount on portrait sessions, as I've had many inquiries about gifting sessions to family and friends for the holidays.  You'll have two options to choose from, as listed below.

From now until December 19, portrait sessions may be purchased for 20% off the normal rates.  That means that instead of the normal (all-inclusive) rate of $400, you'll get the session, online proofing gallery and high resolution disk for $320 (plus tax).  You can buy a session for yourself or a friend so just send me an email and I'll get your certificate shipped out in time for the holidays!

Additionally, sessions can be purchased a la carte (without the high resolution disk) at the normal rate and print credits can be purchased for 50% off.  This means that a $200 print credit would only be $100.  Please email me with any questions and I look forward to meeting and photographing your friends and families!

I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and holiday season!

In the midst of the busy west village, the Apple store is littered with post-it notes containing messages to Steve Jobs.  Standing in front of it and taking it all in was both touching and overwhelming.

Seville was my favorite city of the trip.  Not necessarily because of what we did or saw there but it was just the most beautiful little city with a lot of history.  It had tiny, winding cobblestone streets that opened up into open, airy plazas with beautiful cathedrals, palm trees and charm.  We did tour a really incredible cathedral there but to be honest, it was probably one of three or four on the trip and after awhile, they all start blending together.  This one had a magnificent view from the top of the bell tower which was well work the steep trek. If anyone knows what the first photo is of, feel free to let me know :)

Last stop : Madrid.  I loved Madrid even more than Barcelona which I hear is not the norm.  I think what I appreciated about this city was the Prado and Reina Sofia museums.  They had a vast collection of Pablo Picasso at the modern art museum and that was just amazing to see in person.  We also found the Central Park of Madrid near the Prado.  It was very similar right down to the lake with row boats.  While it didn't quite compare to the NYC park, it was a beautiful respite after all of the walking we had been doing.

As a vegetarian, I was MUCH safer and happier in Madrid.  Between the patatas bravas, pimentos and champinones, I was in heaven.....or at least happy to be eating something other than, or in addition to, cheese.
