At one point or another I think every girl dreams about the idea of getting married in her backyard.  Whether or not it is realistic, there is something so romantic and meaningful about adding a marriage to your family tree at the very home where you grew up.  I guess it's a full circle kind of moment.  Sarah was lucky enough to do it.  This was a spectacular day.

Sarah and Jared, her parents and her grandparents all live on adjoining properties.  There is so much family history here already as I learned when she originally gave me the tour before their engagement session.  It was, and is, such a special place to so many generations and you could feel how excited everyone was to be there sharing in the celebration.

I felt honored to be a part of such a beautiful day with such a lovely couple.

Thanks to Dave from DM studio for backing me up on these.

Thanks to this handsome couple, I discovered the adorable Palmer Square in Princeton, NJ.  I had never shot in Princeton before and I wasn't exactly sure what I would find when I got there.  It was the perfect mix of main street, campus, shopping and park-like atmosphere.  I love the bright colors Jennifer chose for the photos.  I always encourage my couples to be bold and dare to wear something bright.  Look how well color photographs!  I can't wait for November, my favorite season is hot on our heels :)

I love weddings in DUMBO.  I've shot at Bubby's several times and I love the variety the neighborhood offers for outdoor shooting locations.  Both the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges are just outside the door, creating a spectacular view when the sun goes down.

The combination of the venue and all of the work Alexis and Max put into the wedding made the event so personal.  I loved Alexis' style.  Her dress, veil and jewelry were so unique and really out of the ordinary.  Sometimes that's all it takes to make a wedding so refreshing!  I loved everything about this wedding, hope you enjoy it!

The end of July took me to Philadelphia for Nancy and Austin's wedding.  They chose several locations around the city for formals and we basically flew through them to get a little taste of everything Philly.  The reception was held at the Sheraton Society Hill and the ballroom looked gorgeous with Nancy's colors.  Everything turned out beautifully and I was happy to be a part of such a wonderful wedding.  Thanks to Georgi for second shooting!

Gina and Gilles spent a few short weeks in the US to plan their summer wedding next year.  They've been living in Paris for four years, if I remembered that correctly, and they have decided to celebrate their love with THREE weddings.  Can you even imagine!?  I love the idea.  It sounds super romantic and the most amazing part is that one wedding will be in Paris, one in Venezuela and one at Pen Ryn Mansion, where Jeff and I had our wedding!  The reason for all of the celebration is the fact that certain sides of the family speak only english, french, or spanish.  So there will be three weddings in three different parts of the world in three different languages. Pretty intense, huh?  I loved meeting and shooting Gina and Gilles, they were so photogenic and so incredibly sweet.  They even brought me a Paris memento, an Eiffel Tower keychain :)

We are having a engagement/family weekend over labor day this month. Emily has highly recommended you as a person to do our familt portrait as well as an engagement picture for her brother and fiance. We will be in Avalon,nj ...we are Emmaus residents. Is there any chance you would be free to do the shoot? If not can you recommend someone?
