I loved shooting with Kate and Brett in Rittenhouse Square.  The light was glowing and I was amazed at how much we accomplished in about one square city block!  After the park we took a few photos at Parc, a restaurant where Kate and Brett went after they got engaged.  I really enjoyed spending time in the city with both of them and I can't wait to shoot their wedding at Le Meridien next summer.

I photographed Luke and Caliana on an unusually chilly day in October.  We were having great weather that week and all of a sudden the temperatures just dropped for the shoot.  At least the leaves were at their peak!  The twins were surprisingly happy and curious in a new place in spite of the weather.  I had a great time chasing them around, along with Mommy and Hannah, who came to help wrangle :)  Thanks Melissa, I loved seeing Luke and Cali and getting to spend some time with you!

Andrea and Jared's was one of those weddings that was booked only a few months in advance so I didn't have to wait long for all of the amazing things they had planned.  I have to say I was most excited for the end of the night when everyone would be surprised with the opportunity to set off a paper lantern.  My husband and I saw and did this for the first time on our honeymoon so of course I thought the idea was especially unique and creative.  The guests loved it too!  The grand finale to this beautiful, natural, farm wedding was a surprise fireworks show.  And it was AWESOME.  Each time I thought it was over, more and more fireworks started going off.  It was really an amazing end to the evening.

Thank you Jared and Andrea for your kindness.  I felt so appreciated and included in your day!  You are a lovely couple and I wish you many years of happiness and fireworks :)

Greta and Josh were married this month at Bear Creek Ski Resort.  I have known Greta's family for almost fifteen years, her cousin having been MY maid of honor at my wedding and one of her sisters being another one of my closest friends.  I was so excited that they wanted me to shoot their day and have been anticipating it with them for almost a year.  It was such a wonderful day with so many special people.  The love between Greta and Josh is just so apparent.  They have a quiet kind of appreciation for one another that you can see within moments of being around them.  It is one of the truest bonds I've seen.

Greta and Josh, it was an honor to photograph your wedding, your families and your love for one another.  Thank you so much for including me in such a special day!

Christine and Bryan were married on October 9, a perfectly crisp fall day.  Christine's house was surrounded by trees with gorgeously changing leaves which made a really nice backdrop for some nice fall shots.  I had the pleasure of working with David Wong again on this one and he did a fantastic job.  Check out some more of his images over on his blog.  Both the wedding and reception were held at the Highlands at Newberry Estate.  I had never worked at the Highlands before but I absolutely loved the ceremony location, it looked like something straight out of the Secret Garden.

Christine and Bryan decided to see one another before the ceremony so we had a chance to do all of the bride and groom and wedding party shots while the light was nice and no one missed the cocktails.  I loved the fact that the first thing Bryan wanted to do upon seeing his bride was to forever preserve the moment on his iPhone :)  Mom had a camera or video camera in hand all day, this is a family who loves their photography, I dig it.

I'm getting worse at editing for the blog so here are....several.
